Program Description and Accreditation
This institution has been granted a consent by the Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research, Excellence and Security to offer this program for a five-year term starting April 4th, 2025. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies, or other educational institutions).

Domestic: $27.7K CAD
International: $48K CAD
The domestic tuition price is inclusive of a scholarship of up to 25% for all domestic students beginning their graduate studies in the 2026 academic year. Domestic Canadian students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher from their previous institutions are eligible to receive up to 50%. This scholarship is not transferable to alternative programs of study, terms or campuses outside of Toronto, ON.

Program Description
Northeastern University’s Master of Science in Software Engineering Systems (MS SES) program, offered by the College of Engineering, approaches software development from the analytical and methodological perspective of an engineer. Students build advanced design and engineering skills, enhance knowledge in cloud computing, and develop machine learning algorithms.
With the passion for high-performance technology, large-scale machine learning, and AI-type algorithms, students become intuitive problem solvers, experienced engineering architects, and result-focused leaders. Students gain knowledge at the three-way intersection of computer science, engineering, and ethics and are enabled to have a real-world societal impact in high-demand fields across industries.
